Website dedicated to a famous British-American poet and his period of life in Austrian town Kirchstetten.
MAIN TASK
To Inform users about all the events that are taking place in this town and to tell about the life of the writer.
To create a page for the poetry festival, show the program, and provide the opportunity to register.
The logo is based on the contoured map of Kirchstetten. I decided to cut streets to form the letter "A", which symbolizes the writer's name.
The place where the house of the writer is located on the real map is marked with a yellow dot.
A client knew what pages must be on a website and provided texts for it. My task was to split it into semantic blocks and present it in an interesting way.
On the main page, the blocks are designed in a way that a user immediately understands what events are taking place in this town and what exhibits are located there.
On this page we placed information about the car of a writer, which was used while his staying in Kirchstetten and some interesting stories about.
A page dedicated to the artist's house, the works that were written there and the history of the museum's creation
A separate page for a poetry festival with all the needed information was designed. After learning a schedule user can register for an event.
